By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using ClickMimic, you (“you”, “user”, “customer”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not install or use ClickMimic.

2. Definitions & scope
2.1 Key definitions
For the purposes of these Terms:
- “License” means a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use ClickMimic on the permitted number of Devices under a specific plan (for example, trial, subscription, or lifetime) as described in your order, at checkout, or in your account.
- “Device” means a single physical or virtual machine (for example, a desktop, laptop, VPS, or cloud instance) running a supported operating system on which ClickMimic is installed. Multiple operating system installations, virtual machines, or user accounts that can each run ClickMimic may be counted as separate Devices for licensing purposes.
- “Subscription” means a recurring paid plan (for example, monthly, quarterly, or yearly) that grants you a time-limited License to use ClickMimic for the duration of the relevant billing period, subject to automatic renewal unless cancelled as described in Section 7.2.
- “Lifetime license” means a one-time paid License that continues for the lifetime of the ClickMimic product line, as further described in Section 8, and does not refer to your individual lifetime.
- “Trial” or “Trial Period” means a time-limited right to use ClickMimic for evaluation purposes only, typically for 7 calendar days, as described in Section 7.3 and in the specific trial offer.
2.2 Scope of these Terms
These Terms govern your access to and use of:
- the ClickMimic desktop software and associated modules;
- any configuration files, templates, documentation, and example scripts we provide;
- any updates, bug fixes, and enhancements we release for ClickMimic;
- any related services we provide directly in connection with the software (support, licensing, etc.).
Additional terms may apply to specific promotions, trials, or enterprise agreements. In case of conflict, such specific terms prevail for the relevant product or plan.
3. License grant and permitted use
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
- download and install ClickMimic on the number of devices (“seats”) associated with your plan; and
- use ClickMimic solely for your own trading accounts, in accordance with:
- these Terms,
- any usage limits specified at checkout or in your order, and
- the terms, rules, and policies of your broker(s), exchange(s), platform(s), or prop firm(s).
Unless expressly allowed by us in writing, you may not:
- share, resell, lend, lease, rent, or sublicense ClickMimic to third parties;
- circumvent or attempt to circumvent seat limits, license checks, or technical protections;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive source code, except to the extent permitted by mandatory law;
- use ClickMimic to build or assist a competing product or service;
- use ClickMimic in any way that violates applicable law or third-party terms (including broker, platform, or prop-firm rules).
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of license keys and access credentials, and for all activity that occurs under your license.
4. Automation, control and your responsibility
ClickMimic automates mouse and/or keyboard actions on your device based on configuration you set up (for example, reading trades from a text-based signal file and reproducing them in a target platform’s user interface).
You understand and agree that:
- you are fully responsible for choosing brokers, platforms, accounts, instruments, and trade sizes;
- you are responsible for enabling or disabling ClickMimic automation and verifying calibration, order sizes, risk parameters, and trade directions;
- you must monitor the operation of ClickMimic, especially after configuration changes, platform updates, OS changes, or UI changes;
- any safety features (including “dry-run”/simulation modes or pre-flight checks) are tools to assist you, not guarantees of correct behaviour.
Any trades opened, modified, or closed as a result of ClickMimic running on your machine are your trades. You remain the trader of record at all times.
5. Compliance with brokers, platforms & prop firms
Your obligation to check rules. You are solely responsible for understanding and complying with:
- the terms and conditions of your broker(s) and prop firm(s);
- platform rules (for example, MetaTrader, cTrader, xStation, DXtrade, TradeLocker, or others);
- program rules for funded challenges and funded accounts;
- all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
No promise to bypass restrictions. ClickMimic operates by automating user interface actions. We do not:
- guarantee compliance or compatibility with any specific broker, prop firm, challenge, or account type;
- guarantee that your use of ClickMimic will be allowed, accepted, or deemed compliant by a third party;
- provide any warranty that using ClickMimic is permitted where algorithmic trading, EAs, or automation are restricted;
- represent ClickMimic as a way to “hide” the use of EAs, algorithms, or automation from brokers or prop firms.
No endorsement or affiliation. Unless explicitly stated in writing:
- we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any broker, exchange, platform, or prop firm; and
- any names or logos of third parties are trademarks of their respective owners and are used for descriptive purposes only.
Consequences of non-compliance. You accept that:
- your broker, prop firm, or platform may suspend or close your account, invalidate challenges, or withhold payouts if they determine that you violated their rules; and
- we are not liable for such actions, nor for any resulting loss of fees, deposits, profits, funded status, or opportunities.
By using ClickMimic, you confirm that you will only use it in ways that comply with all applicable broker, platform, and prop-firm rules.
For additional information about how ClickMimic relates to broker and prop-firm rules, please see our FAQ section “Compliance with brokers & prop firms”, available at /faq.
6. No investment advice & trading risk
ClickMimic is not investment advice, a signal provider, or a guarantee of execution quality, market outcomes, or profitability.
All trading and investing involves risk, including the risk of losing capital. You acknowledge that:
- past performance (including of any EA or strategy you use) is not indicative of future results;
- automation can increase the speed at which gains or losses occur;
- execution may differ from expectations due to slippage, latency, platform updates, UI changes, configuration errors, or other technical factors.
Nothing in our marketing materials, examples, screenshots, social media content, or communications should be interpreted as a promise or guarantee that you will make a profit, achieve any particular return, pass any prop-firm challenge, or receive any payout.
You assume full responsibility for all trading decisions and all outcomes (including profits, losses, missed trades, duplicated trades, or errors) arising directly or indirectly from your use of ClickMimic.
7. Payments, billing & taxes
7.1 Merchant of Record & payment processing
Payments for ClickMimic are processed by our authorized payment provider, currently Gumroad, acting as Merchant of Record for the relevant transactions. Gumroad handles:
- billing and payment processing;
- invoicing;
- collection and remittance of applicable VAT / sales tax where required; and
- certain fraud, risk and refund processing in line with its own policies and applicable law.
For more information about how refunds, cancellations, chargebacks and payment disputes are handled, please see Section 7.6 (“Refunds & cancellations”).
7.2 Subscriptions & renewals
- Subscription plans (for example, monthly, quarterly, yearly) renew automatically at the end of each billing period, unless you cancel before the renewal date.
- You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Access continues until then.
7.3 Trials & promotions
From time to time we may offer free trials or promotional pricing for ClickMimic.
7-day free trial. Unless stated otherwise in the specific offer, any free trial for ClickMimic has a duration of 7 calendar days starting when we first make the license key, download link, or access available to you (the “Trial Period”). During the Trial Period you may use ClickMimic with the features included in the trial solely for evaluation purposes.
At or before checkout we will clearly indicate how a given trial works, including what happens at the end of the Trial Period:
- Trials without payment details. If a trial does not require you to provide payment details, your access will automatically stop at the end of the Trial Period unless you manually purchase a paid plan or license. No automatic charges will be made.
- Trials with payment details / auto-convert. If a trial requires you to provide payment details and specifies that it converts into a paid Subscription after the Trial Period, the relevant Subscription will start automatically at the end of the Trial Period unless you cancel before then. In that case, the price and billing period after the trial are shown at checkout and form part of your offer.
You may only use a free trial once per person and per account/email unless we explicitly allow otherwise. We may refuse, limit, or end trial access at our reasonable discretion to prevent abuse.
7.4 Fees & refunds
- Fees are due in advance for each billing period or at the time of purchase (for one-time or lifetime licenses).
- Except where required by law or explicitly stated otherwise:
- fees are non-refundable once a billing period has started; and
- fees for lifetime licenses are non-refundable once the license and download access have been delivered.
- You are responsible for any bank fees, currency conversion costs, or charges from your payment provider.
7.5 Price changes
We may change the prices of subscriptions or licenses for future billing periods at any time. If you have an active subscription, any price change will apply only from the next renewal period, and we will provide prior notice where required by law. If you do not agree with the new price, you can cancel your subscription before the renewal date.
7.6 Refunds & cancellations
General principle. ClickMimic is distributed as digital software with immediate access. Once a license has been delivered and download or activation has begun, our default position is that fees are non-refundable, except where we explicitly state otherwise in these Terms or at checkout, or where a refund is required by applicable consumer protection law. This is why we encourage you to use any available free trial or evaluation period to test ClickMimic before committing to a paid plan or lifetime license.
Nothing in this section limits any mandatory statutory rights you may have (for example, for consumers in the EEA as described in the “EU / EEA right of withdrawal (digital content)” section).
Subscription cancellations. This section supplements Sections 7.2 and 7.4 and explains how cancellations and refunds work for subscriptions:
- You can cancel a subscription at any time via the self-service options provided by our payment providers (for example, the “Manage subscription” link in your receipt or customer portal) or by contacting our support team with sufficient notice.
- Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have access to ClickMimic until that period ends.
- We do not provide pro-rated or partial refunds for unused time in a billing period, unless required by law or explicitly stated otherwise in a promotion.
It is your responsibility to cancel before the renewal date if you do not wish to continue. We cannot retroactively cancel or refund subscription renewals simply because a reminder email was missed, spam-filtered, or unread.
Refunds for subscriptions (exceptions). Without limiting Section 7.4 (Fees & refunds), we may, at our reasonable discretion, consider a refund, partial refund, or credit in specific situations such as:
- Duplicate payments. You were accidentally charged twice for the same plan and billing period (for example, two identical active subscriptions under the same email). In such cases, we may cancel the duplicate subscription and refund the duplicate charge or apply a credit.
- Clear billing error. You were charged an amount that does not match the price shown at checkout for your plan, due to a technical or processing error on our or our payment provider’s side.
- Early technical failure. Within a reasonable initial period after purchase (for example, during the first billing period), you experience a persistent technical issue that makes it impossible to use ClickMimic as described, you have worked with our support team and followed reasonable troubleshooting steps, and we are unable to provide a workable solution within a reasonable time.
We may offer a refund or a partial refund, or extend your subscription as a goodwill gesture. We are not obligated to provide a refund in any particular case beyond what is required by law.
We do not provide refunds for trading losses, missed trades, or performance of any EA, strategy, broker, or prop firm; changes in your trading style, preferences, or personal circumstances; issues caused by third-party platforms, brokers, prop firms, operating systems, or hardware changes outside our control; or failure to meet challenge rules, payout conditions, or other requirements imposed by brokers or prop firms.
One-time and “lifetime” licenses. Unless required by law or explicitly stated otherwise at checkout, one-time and “lifetime” license fees are non-refundable once the license and download/access have been delivered to you. By completing the purchase, you acknowledge that the product is digital content and that delivery begins immediately after payment, as described in our EU / EEA digital content withdrawal section.
We may consider a refund or partial refund only in narrow cases such as duplicate purchase of the same license under the same account, a clear billing error, or a proven technical defect that prevents any use of the software, where we cannot reasonably fix or work around the issue within a reasonable time after you have contacted support. Any such refunds are at our sole discretion and do not create an obligation to issue refunds in similar situations in the future.
How to request a refund or cancellation. To help us review your case efficiently, please contact support and include at least:
- your full name and the email address used for the purchase;
- the order ID or receipt number provided by the payment provider (for example, Gumroad);
- the type of purchase (subscription / one-time / lifetime);
- the date of purchase or renewal; and
- a clear description of the issue and why you are requesting a refund or cancellation.
In some cases we may need you to also contact the relevant Merchant of Record (for example, Gumroad) if their processes require the request to be initiated through their portal.
Chargebacks and payment disputes. If you believe there has been an unauthorized or fraudulent transaction, you should contact us first so we can investigate and, where appropriate, reverse or correct the charge; or, if necessary, contact your bank or payment provider according to their policies.
If you initiate a chargeback or dispute without first giving us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue, we may suspend or terminate your license and access to ClickMimic while the dispute is pending. If the dispute is resolved in our favor, we may consider such behavior when deciding whether to continue providing services to you in the future. We may also permanently block or invalidate license keys and Device activations associated with accounts that are the subject of confirmed fraudulent or abusive chargebacks or payment disputes. Suspension or termination due to fraud, abuse, or chargeback does not entitle you to any additional refund, except where required by law.
Local consumer rights. Some countries and regions (for example, the EU / EEA) grant consumers additional statutory rights that cannot be waived by contract. Where such mandatory rights apply, this Refunds & cancellations section operates in addition to your statutory rights, not instead of them, and in case of conflict, mandatory consumer protection law and our specific EU / EEA withdrawal section take precedence.
8. “Lifetime” licenses
If we offer a “lifetime” license, “lifetime” refers to the lifetime of the ClickMimic product line, not the lifetime of any individual customer.
Unless stated otherwise at checkout, a lifetime license includes:
- ongoing security and compatibility updates for supported platforms and operating systems, as reasonably determined by us;
- access to major features released during the active life of the product line, at our discretion;
- priority support for at least the first 3 months from purchase (support may continue after that but is not guaranteed to remain “priority”).
We may discontinue the ClickMimic product line in whole or in part (for example, if technology changes, platforms become obsolete, or the product is no longer commercially viable). If we permanently discontinue ClickMimic, we will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice, but we are not obligated to provide service beyond the lifetime of the product line.
9. EU / EEA right of withdrawal (digital content)
If you are a consumer resident in the European Economic Area (EEA), you may have a statutory right to withdraw from distance contracts within 14 days without giving any reason.
However, for digital content not supplied on a tangible medium (such as downloadable software):
- you lose the right of withdrawal once the download or access begins, and
- you have given your express consent to start delivery and acknowledged that you lose the right of withdrawal.
During checkout, we may ask you to confirm that you:
- request immediate access to ClickMimic; and
- understand that this means you lose the normal 14-day withdrawal right once delivery begins.
Where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide additional rights, they remain unaffected.
10. Fair use, anti-abuse & suspension
We aim to provide stable, fair access for all users. We may rate-limit, suspend, terminate, or block license keys or Device activations, or otherwise restrict your access, if we reasonably believe that you:
- commit fraud or payment abuse;
- circumvent seat limits, license checks, or technical restrictions;
- attempt to reverse engineer or attack our licensing systems;
- use ClickMimic in a way that harms other users, us, or third parties;
- use ClickMimic for illegal activities or in violation of these Terms.
Where required by law, we will provide notice and an opportunity to respond. Suspension or termination under this section does not entitle you to a refund, except where required by law.
11. Updates, changes & discontinuation
11.1 Software updates
We may provide updates, bug fixes, patches, or new versions of ClickMimic. Some updates may be required to maintain compatibility or security. Certain features or platform integrations may be added, changed, or removed over time.
11.2 Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
- For non-material changes, we may update the Terms by publishing a new version on our website.
- For material changes affecting active subscriptions, we will provide reasonable prior notice (for example, by email or in-app notification).
Your continued use of ClickMimic after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11.3 Discontinuation
We may discontinue specific features, integrations, or modules (for example, if a platform becomes unsupported) or the product line as a whole, as described in Section 8.
11.4 Early access and beta versions
From time to time we may provide access to early-access, preview, or beta versions of ClickMimic or specific features. Such versions are provided for testing and feedback, may be unstable or incomplete, and may change or be removed at any time. All disclaimers and limitations of liability in these Terms apply fully to early-access and beta versions.
12. Intellectual property
ClickMimic, including all related software, documentation, design, and branding, is protected by intellectual property laws and remains our exclusive property or that of our licensors.
- You receive a license to use the software, not ownership of the software or any intellectual property rights.
- All third-party names, logos, or trademarks (for example, broker or platform names) belong to their respective owners and are used only for identification and descriptive purposes.
13. Warranties & limitation of liability
13.1 No warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClickMimic and any related services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that:
- ClickMimic will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all versions of third-party platforms; or
- any particular trading outcomes, execution quality, or profitability will be achieved.
13.2 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to your use of ClickMimic (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) is limited to:
- for subscription plans: the total amount you paid us for ClickMimic in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or
- for lifetime or one-time licenses: the purchase price you paid for that license.
We are not liable for:
- indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages;
- loss of profits, revenue, data, business, goodwill, or opportunity;
- account closures, invalidated prop challenges, or withheld payouts by third parties.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations of liability. In such cases, the limitations above apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
14. Data protection & privacy
Our processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
In summary:
- ClickMimic primarily runs locally on your device and interacts with your trading platforms through their user interface;
- we do not need your broker or prop-firm passwords to perform UI automation;
- we may process certain data (for example, license key information, technical logs, crash reports) to operate, secure, and improve the product, as described in the Privacy Policy.
In case of any conflict, the Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws (such as GDPR) prevail.
15. Governing law & dispute resolution
Unless mandatory law in your country of residence provides otherwise:
- these Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules; and
- the courts of Świebodzin, Poland shall have exclusive jurisdiction, without
prejudice to:
- your right as a consumer in the EEA to bring claims in your country of residence where required by mandatory law; and
- any mandatory dispute resolution rights granted by applicable law.
16. Miscellaneous
- If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
- You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of the business.
- The English version of these Terms is the authoritative version. Translations are provided for convenience only.
